BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN MY OPINION LIKE CMON DAWG ITS DELICIOUS. THE WET BURRITO OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DONT GET ME STARTED LIKE OH WEEEE ITS GOOD. The service is good ig, its just ordering to a cashier and workers doing their work idk. The inside is very nice, and renovated versus from how a close family member of mine saying on how it looked not the best from the outside from back then, but ayeeee its way more nicer now. Even got a Mexican style going on in there which is like saur cuarte.

Best burritos in the hood! Most likely one of the top burrito spots you'll ever try in LA. I specifically really enjoy their carne asada burrito. Their carne asada tacos are delicious too but the burrito is my preference as it's more filling. Their meat is extremely tasty and well seasoned. Tacos El Unico has a unique taste and seasoning that I have never tried anywhere else. I don't know how they do it but it's extremely tasty and they make it work. No other burrito spot has pulled it off like they do. The green and red chile packets they have here are delicious too. Just like their meat and seasoning, no other place has that chile taste like they have here. Their recipes and ingredients are definitely top-tier and when it comes to flavor, everything is very top quality. Whenever I crave a carne asada burrito, this is the first spot that comes to mind. I don't live so close, but I've made the 30-35 minute drive just to eat Tacos El Unico. Yes, it's that's good! Whether you eat in the restaurant or take it home to go, it's just as tasty. Definitely underrated and I highly recommend people try their food at least once.

I ordered the heart platter tacos on ubereats but it came in a regular circle platter. Loved the extra salsas and pickled onions/carrots that were provided The tacos were good especially the asada ones. Portion wise - you can get full with like 3 tacos I would definitely order again if im ever in the mood for tacos

Huge pet peeve of mine is when the money handlers don't sync with the food servers. Glad to say, Tacos El Unico nails it! Despite its cozy size, the efficient service encourages a quick in-and-out. Kudos to Eric and the staff for doing a wonderful job. That's just how I feel! Food is always incredible

The food is great but the seating is where it fails for big parties there one two and a half areas

My mom has a huge family and on Saturdays we used to all get together. They would get so excited to go and get tacos from this location. At that time it was a truck. Throughout the years we've stayed loyal . They sure do live up to their name El Unico in translation means the only one. My mom is obsessed with Mexican food she eats it any chance she gets . She definitely does the foot work . For 30 years this is still her favorite taco spot . I don't eat meat anymore but I made my boyfriend get my old order and I watched him devour each taco. He says he's my meat slut! LOL . I may not eat meat anymore but I sure do like watching him eat it. For five star tacos El Unico is your spot because it sure is ours!!
